I do feel sorry for Gerrard. I suppose it'll always been one of those stories where loyalty doesn't surrender the rewards it should do. I don't think it helps that Gerrard certainly isn't getting any younger, each season seems to throw up new injury concerns. I suppose at least he's got a Champions League medal during his tenure.

There can't be. I think they're just playing out the season. That "English Premium" policy was so dumb! Anyone who plays FM could have told Liverpool's front office that the 25 man squad with 8 home grown players isn't too stringent of a requirement!
