That's exactly what makes them your legends. Ronaldo was great for you guys, but by no means was he ever a legend. Get over it, you know he has.

I personally didn't like Ronaldo and am not upset at all that he's not in United anymore. But I hate when people point to his transfer after any bad performance.

I'm just going to say, he was a great player for us , not a legend, and he's part of our history now ...

I think you are overreacting a bit with Ronaldo being mentioned here. He was talking about United, so it does belong here. Who cares how he left, he brought us huge amount of success, i'm sure 6 years ago if you were told that you can buy Ronaldo and everything that happened will happen or you could pass on him and "possibly" pass on everything that happened, would you not take him still?

Ferguson said that Rio will be back a week after that game, even though Ferdinand himself thinks he will be back to play Spurs. VDS is out for atleast 3 weeks as well. And don't bank on Hargreaves coming back anytime before mid-November. He is only flying to Manchester in September, he hasn't kicked a ball in a year.

I think Fergie's going to use Hargreaves very carefully to avoid any unnecessary risk.

I'm really impressed by Gibson improvement as well, he's shooting is very good as well.

If he's gonna use Hargreaves carefully, he should sell him. He'd have the most physical-demanding job of any on the ManU squad, just sell him and buy someone else.

I think what kp40 meant is that SAF won't rush Hargreaves back into the side, little by little until he is 100% fit without any setbacks...

There is no real thinking about it, that's exactly what's gonna happen and Ferguson been saying that the whole summer. Hargreaves back in England in September. If fitness is the same as has been reported than he will start doing light ball work, then a bit more intense a few weeks later and back to full fitness and into the team in December. Common, why are we still talking like Owen will play in the next month or 2?

you're right, I think in best case scenario, he will play this December but his comeback will boost squad spirit.

owen isnt the type of footballer that is going to take the year of injury to get fat like some players. i wouldnt be surprised if he isnt maintained his cardio for the whole year. of course that isnt match fit but itll be pretty close. and i have every faith that once this injury is over he gets an extended run in without injuries. just look at the wonders MU staff did with wes brown and giggs. people were writting brown off with his knee the second time round' but he is still playing. Owen will be fine me thinks, just wont see him this week end...or the next...or the next...
