hmm Gaz, Gaby, Keano all out :nape: - these are respected & feared players and they would all be able to might "calm" Roo down a bit + the are all nononsense players which we only have Smithy left atm.

my "injury hit line up for sunday"

4-4-2 classic
-----------------VDS-------------------
O'Shea--Ferdinand--Silvestre--Richardson
-Ronaldo--Smith--Fletcher/Scholes--Park-
---------Nistelrooy---Rooney------------

VDS/Smith Captain (expirience or fighter)
man the defense looks silly like that!
a flat 4-4-2 Smith & Scholes/Fletcher as CMs, Park and Ron attack from the wings. Rooney upfront ot behind Ruud (free role)

what do you think ?

btw about our "favourite" portueges magical tactican....

"Finally Queiroz said his former club should make an effort to re-sign Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele, who was sold before the 2003-4 season kicked off.

"First of all Madrid need him and secondly, it would take him away from Chelsea and that would make things easier for us at Manchester," he said."

actually when I think about it you're right, at least we would have an expirienced player more on the pitch. park still can come on with fresh legs in the 2nd half.

How big is YOUR penis?
Smith is not a midfielder and he will never be one. Dude can tackle like a maniac for sure, but that doesn`t make the dude a good midfielder. Dude has been playing striker ever since the start of his football career. No ****in` way in hell dude can be a replacement for Keane. And it`s quiet for an obvious reason. The dude just can`t link the defense and offense, he doesn`t know how to control the tempo, the pace and the flow of the game. He can`t quickly transform defense into offense like Keane does. In short, he got the determination of a midfielder but he ain`t got the visions. Strikers will always be strikers.

Now, Paul Scholes is well known for his cracker outside the box, which means one thing, he shoot them hard, and low. He can`t pass long dead balls for christ`s sake, why keep givin` the dude the responsibility of taking corners. And one other thing he is famous of, he probably has the highest vertical jump in the squad despite his 5`8" height. He can score headers and even winning air battles with a 6`4" if he wants, stop the dude from taking corners, please. But Scholes tremendous strike would mean squat when there`s noone upfront layin` the ball off to his path. Lets rewind our memories to the good ol` 1999, Beckham crossed, Yorke missed, opponent`s defender headers away, Scholes waiting outside, Scholes blasted, GOAL !!!!!! Now, we don`t see plays like that today very often do we ? Why ? Cos` we seems to have trouble delivering that leather Nike or Adidas ball into the opponent`s box, cos` noone can freakin` cross except Giggs, and he`s 32 year old, and for health reason, he`s limited to 2 games per week. **** international football !!!!!!

Rooney needs a therapist. Lad doesn`t seem to know when to really have a go at a reff or an opponent. If we were 3-0 down, at th 90th minute, then by all means, my brilliant prodigy, you can hack any Sorin, Forlan, or Figuero in that match or even ass rape Kim Milton Nielsen himself so you can get your frustation out of you, or when we are 3-0 up, then by all means, you can always arrogantly clap your chest in front of Nielsen if you want to, get a red card in any of those situation, then we might only call you a brilliant lunatic. But my boy, you did that stupid clap when we still have the chance to bring 3 points home and some greens from the UEFA for winning, now, that makes you a stupid, young lunatic. How many warnings and reds does it take for you to grow the **** up ?

Now, thanks for reading my frustation after watching the two abysmal performance against City and Villareal.

Completely true! I agree with you 200%, especially the Scholes and Smith part.

BAD NEWS!!!! HEINZE MISS MOST OF THE SEASON

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/man_utd/4248368.stm

Manchester United defender Gabriel Heinze will miss "most of the season" with cruciate knee ligament damage.
The 27-year-old Argentine was hurt in a tackle with Jan Kromkamp during the first half of United's Champions League tie with Villarreal in midweek.

Heinze's injury is a blow for United, who are set to be without Roy Keane for two weeks with a hamstring strain.

United boss Ferguson has not ruled out Heinze from the campaign altogether, but it seems unlikely he will return.

He also faces a race against time to be fit for Argentina's World Cup campaign in Germany next year.

Gary Neville, Wes Brown, Louis Saha, Quinton Fortune and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are also sidelined for United.

Kieran Richardson looks set to fill Heinze's left-back position in the Premiership game against Liverpool on Sunday

WHY must this always happen to our most importen players?
i am shocked!

richardson gives us the pace on the left so i wouldnt mind him playing left back but the problem is his concentration level is low. he did alrite against villareal though apart from that mistake.

the bloody scousers always raise their game against us....so if we play the same old sh*t football which we call "patient" football then get prepared to be hammered :). boy am i optimistic

anyway just start watching from the second half cuz the 1st half is gonna be boring like it always has been so far. we tend to up our tempo in the second period...i wonder why

this isn't nessecarily the solution, but maybe its time for pique to make the step up and move silvestre to leftback for a few games.

Yep Yep, Pique did well in pre-season, I believe he can do a good job in defence, bad timing for Spector, this could've been his chance for first team football at Man U....

This is why when we get rid of players, we should at least get someone decent who can play the position. Richardson is a good player, he's not a good defender. I'd rather have Giggs at LB rather than Richardson, to be perfectly honest.

*can't wait until Wes gets back so we can have 4 real defenders*
