its pretty unbelievable how much pull Beckham has in the US. with the way hes playing, its only going to get crazier. watching the highlights of yesterday's game, you can feel how everyone's just got huge amount of respect for the guy. great stuff :D.

well, Beckham's doing what MLS had hoped he'd do, yeah all the Beckham jock-riding is annoying but he's really sparking a lot of interest in MLS, way more than I ever dreamed he would. I think what happened in the NY-LA game was exactly what soccer in North America needs, great action, lots of goals, and a huge crowd and TV audience to witness it.

DC is on FIAAAAAAAH, that's four wins in a row now in the league. Jaime Moreno got his 109th goal in the MLS tonight and so became the all-time leader in goals, congrats to him.

KC beat the Fire 3-2, if anybody gets a chance check out the highlight of KC's third goal, Eddie Johnson's assist is sick.

Our defense is bottom of the table. 4 goals to the Galaxy and 3 to DC are way too much for a contending team. Thank God we have arguably the best striking force in the league, that's why we are still in the hunt. Bruce Arena should really work on getting a couple of good defenders and a DM.

I am starting to love this league. I just hope people start recognising the league and it becomes more than a third tier sport. ESPN leaned what a gold mine soccer is during the world cup, thats why they bought the European Cup.

I think this is different from the Pele times because now TV ratings mean so much more and main soccer tournament are giving sports networks a huge jump for the positive.
