game 1 lakers 25 - 17 detroit
game 2 27 - 23
game 3 28 - 16
game 4 35 - 20

these are the fouls committed by both teams...

some fouls called against shaq this year weren't called the seasons before........

I'm not saying that detroit doesn't deserve to win but it's just that the refs made some calls that weren't call before IMO (they used to just let some of the play go but now everything is called).....

and yeah.... kobe hasn't been himself the last 2 games....

The championship is finally coming closer back to the East :rockman:

(I'm for detroit but I don't want them to win like this)

before the series started I wanted Detroit to win but now I believe if they win it wouldn't be really fair...... just look at the foul ratios between the 2 teams.....what's up with that?

Exactly.

I have never, ever seen such a poorly officiated series.

There are so many touch fouls called against the Lakers that it is just not fair.

In the first half, that is the way the Pistons atayed in the game. :kader:

It's Bullshit. :kader:

Come on guys, yeah some of the calls haven't gone our way but you can't blame the refs, Detroit has shut us down. A lot of those fouls which we've gotten have come out due to the frustration the guys have shown, that's what happened at the end of tonight's game. Let's take it easy on the "blame the refs" talk.

Thanks Rusi. (Y)

good ol' lakers fans... when they're winning, the refs are super. when they are losing, the refs are the worst thing to happen since women were allowed to vote. some fouls were uncalled for, but the lakers do play very physically inside the paint, and im sure the refs felt like the needed to control the tempo. im sorta sick of shaq simply throwing people out of his way so he can dunk.

I'm no lakers fan but I do agree with you on "lakers do play very physically inside the paint, and im sure the refs felt like the needed to control the tempo. im sorta sick of shaq simply throwing people out of his way so he can dunk".....

it's just that nowadays the refs are calling it right while they used to let it go... (I remember poor old mutombo getting killed by shaq hahaha I hated shaq back then).... I was used to the feeling the refs helping shaq out, that way I would be happy if the lakers lose....

if they had made those calls during shaqs prime I wouldn't have this feeling ... after he's used to getting calls his way and suddenly not anymore, it just doesn't feel right..... it's like shaq's getting old now and he's slowing down and the refs make it worst for him......

my thoughts exactly. those calls should have been made before. i remember during the lakers - kings series once, bobby Carlos*son was driving the lane, and shaq, the big bear the he is, simply took his hand and smashed it into bobby. bobby Carlos*son got a broken hand, and had to have a metal plate and 9 screws inserted into it, but there was no foul.

then there are countless times that shaq just lowers his shoulder and basically rams the defender, which in my opinion, should be a foul EVERY TIME. im sick of watching people get beat up and shaq getting away with it because "thats just how he plays"

Im not blamin the refs, I feel its the players fault for playin weak basketball. Just look at how much trouble they have with the stupid pick n roll. If game 5 starts off the same way as the last ones and the Lakers continue to play ugly basketball just like the pistons then its all over. But I think they'll get their act together and take the series back to LA.

Congrats to the REAL Pistons FANS, you proved to be the best team and dominated us brilliantly, the game hasn't finish and its still 8 minutes left, but i don't see us make a run. :(

Great season, i feel bad for Malone but the best team always win and this time the Pistons is that team.

They showed all the free agents and people who could leave the team next year on t.v.

It's a big list and i hope that the lakers only lose 1 or 2 players and not half of the team next year :(
