I`m sorry to say this but you guys must be completely blind in the eyes. How can you say the graphics look nice.. for the love of god look at Rio Ferdinand..he looks like crap and the rest of England nat. team. Look at the way Trezeguet looks.. looks like they are using FIFA 2000 graphics.

And If I`m not mistaken there was already an actual gameplay footage FIFA 2006 RTWC on XBOX..and it was noticable that the graphics were much better but nothing crystal clear like these screenshots.. look at Madden for next gen systems I bet it won`t even look close like they are in the screenies.

Oh btw. Konami has promised to deliver the same graphics on next WE/PES for next-gen like you see in WE/PES intros.

Only if EA make it so the game requires a state of the art graphics card. See, like I always said and will say again, EA can push a next-gen console to its limits graphically because each console uses the same hardware so they don't have to worry that some xbox 360's might not be able to run it! They know every xbox 360 will share the same requirements to run and therefore can push the game. In saying that, RTWC 06 on the 360 doesn't push the 360 hardware at all. Not when you look at Project Gotham 3 racing. But by no means would I expect the same quality of game on the PC too soon, not unless EA want you to start upgrading your computers. Console's just run differently to PC's, even if your PC has a better graphics card.

Eg. The Xbox version of Doom 3 has no slow-down, and my PC has better hardware than the xbox, yet I can't run it at full detail or anything of the sort because the frames just drop. This is the beauty of the console. And the Xbox version looks just as good if not better.

Oh and 360 is backwards compatible with the best xbox games. I.e. Halo,Halo 2, project gotham 1 & 2, etc.

nxt-gen gfx card by ati to be unvieled

also by mid-march of 2006 with the dual-core processors,nxt-gen video cards and high RAM and with PCI-E i don't find any reason why nxt-gen gfx won't work on the pc soon.

please mate, it'll be a while since people switch over to those next-gen graphic cards. while yes it's true that the PC might look like this but it won't [at least outside of Nvidia's or Ati's offices] for a little while.

I aint got anything against if they will, but i don't think that they'll might do just that 'cause PC, as a... "current-gen" platform suits them just okay...

I mean, PC could at this moment run any of "next-gen" games with no problems... All of that "xbox 360 and ps3 have super-duper-ultra-next-generation hardware" is just marketing bull****. PC hardware is way more advanced and powerful, but when we talk about games, developers like consoles more 'cause they don't have to worry about optimizing high-profile titles to work properly on GeforceMX and 7800 GTX at the same time.

But, then again, ATi and nVidia are controlling just everything in gaming industry (including consoles), and their work has the most influence on PC gaming with new graphics chips solutions. It means that "casual gamers" with GeForceMX are not their main issue and interest, but the "power gamers" who do not hesitate spending 600 euros for a new graphics card.
And the conclusion is? By the year 2007. next-gen graphics on "next-gen" consoles will be a past tense... like it was with every generation...

I would say anyone who would rather pay $1200 or more for a decent graphics card, ram, monitor and joystick than getting a next-gen console is just insane, (that is the next-gen consoles are optimized to their full capability, meaning that the game developed will run at its full capacity if the developer chooses to do so). :crazyboy:

With a damn PC all you have is a game that will have to run in some average graphics card with minimum of 256 MB devoted solely to games, and the developers have no way of maximizing the game to its full capability on the PC... :read:

You might as well just buy a new next-gen console... They've come to stay, especially PES3, which will blow XBOX360 out of the water :rockman:

As I said before, some people prefer the PC to be able to edit the game, or just to be able to correct the bugs and mistakes when a game gets released too fast (now what game could that be?)

The FIFA footage is okay, nothing special. Until I see some real in-game footage, I'm not gonna believe anything.

Hold on :rofl: You sir are an idiot and I will explain why. The xbox version does not look close and not even near maybe better than the PC version.
1) I hope you know your xbox's native resolution, its 640x480
2) I hope you do understrand that the PC version of Doom 3 was made to use Shader Model 2.0, The xbox had a "Geforce 3" which is very far from SM 2.0
3) Still on the subject of SM, Isnt it odd that Half-life 2 runs faster on my PCI Geforce 4 MX 420 64MB (remember this card has no pixel shaders) than my AGP Radeon 9800 XT 256MB. Do you know why, because the Geforce 4MX is not doing any shading! Pixel or vertex.
4) I bet you think the xbox Far Cry Instincts looks just as good as the PC Far Cry if not better :rolleyes:
5) I own an HDTV and DOOM 3 on xbox is not anywhere close to looking as good as it does on my PC.
