Anticipation, Concentration and Creativity will never be good enough to become a worldclass playmaker IMO, he'd need a raise in 6 in all of them just to good,but I'm big on mental stats. Composure would be the 1st thing I'd look to improve though, or the physical stats.

I just looked him up using Genie Scout and at 15 years old his position potential as a left winger is... 81+%.
Holy ****. I find that usually the true potential on Genie Scout doesn't emerge until a player gets to about 22 because the game extrapolates attributes evenly, and therefore the values they produce are with generic training. With specialized training he could be amazing. 80s are extremely rare. In the original database there are only 9 players with 80% in a position on current ability, and only 4 at 81%: Ronaldo, Mascherano, Reina, and Messi. His PA is 188.
The only problem is that at Fiorentina I play a flat 4-4-2. That's kind of the whole point of this game, I'm trying to make it work. So I might try him at LM. Either way, I won't have to seriously consider this for 2.5 years at the least, and possibly 5 years until I want him to crack the first team. I might try him behind a lone striker in a 4-5-1 too.

January 16th, 2013. Samir Handanovic signs for Fiorentina from Udinese for 16m Euros. The Fiorentina fans are irate over what they consider an exorbitant and idiotic fee and transfer. Samir played the second half of the Serie A season, 19 games in all.

Lined up two Bosman transfers for the summer of 2014. Albin Ekdal, which ends a 2 year chase to sign him, and terrifyingly El Cubo on the recommendation of FM n00b skip.

All because Milan lost early in the day, which meant I only needed a draw to effectively clinch the title, so I put out a B team to rest up for the Champions League Semi Final, and then my right winger got a minor injury, so I took him off for the kid. 77 year old record!

The biggest issue I'm having now is finding a replacement for Vargas who just turned 30. He will probably get it done for another year or more, but I would like to hit the ground running on a physical freak who also has technical ability at the LM position. I don't want frail wingers like in your 4-3-3s or 4-2-3-1s, I want guys who are going to tackle.
The obvious #1 choice is Gareth Bale. He isn't coming. Moving on, my solid #2 appears to be Andre Ayew, who also does not have the slightest interest as he's happy at Arsenal who played in the Euro League this year. Sadly they're sure to qualify for the CL next season, so he will probably remain still.
After that I don't have any stand out candidates. I guess the two guys who have caught my eye the most would be Franck Tabanou at PSG (who is also not interested) and Jordi Alba at Valencia (who is). The darkhorse is Erik Lamela from Roma who is stronger and bigger than you might think, but also a little creative.
I need other candidates though; the best guys seem to be converted defenders/wingbacks who can also get up the line, so like Yuri Zhirkov in his younger days. Any thoughts? Left footed obviously.

I'm also probably buying Carlos Collison when Swansea get relegated because he can cover all midfield positions.
Oh, and I have Real Madrid in the CL Final (they were in my group, and on the last match day beat my reserves 6-1) and Padova in the Copa Italia final. Amazed I could win a treble. Basically only 4 stars: Handanovic, Jovetic, Babacar, and Vargas. Everyone else is merely solid.
