A great debut from Charisteas who set up the first goal by Sneijder and RYAAAAAAN BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABELLLLLLLLLLL DID IT AGAIN he scored a magnificent goal in the dying minutes after a beautiful solo
Escude was fantastic in defense and IMO he's getting better with every game.
And what a great weekend it is, Feyenoord lost against Vitesse with 2-1 and Feyenoord was simply AWFULL hehehahaha what a terrible play that was
And AZ couldn't win against NEC, 1-1 was the score there.
We are closing in people what a day!!

Finally Ajax won against Utreg!!
It was a good match, Charisteas played very well, didn't scored but was important for the team today.

And of course Babel scored again

Good win against our satellite team and good to see Charisteas score again, he scored now twice in two games so that's hopefull and in a few weeks we have to play against Utrecht twice and both times away so that's going to be tough..

He's not good enough anymore for Ajax 1, the 2nd team is ok, but we've Sneijder, Vd Vaart, Heitinga, Galasek, Pienaar, etc,etc.

So he's not needed anymore, but of course once an Ajacied always an Ajacied..!

Charisteas did so good. You just know when he has the ball that he'd do something good with it.

Wondering if this is the first striker Ajax bought who will not have problems getting used to the Ajax-System as Machlas, Sonck and Zlatan had.
But he got some competition from Babel alright his dribble this afternoon was awesome. Made me think of a certain Swedish man who's now getting his money in North-West Italy.

We were in a bad period then, with Sneijder saying the words "what! what!" to Sonck.
But I'm glad that's over now.

Sneijder said in a interview on AT5:

"I'm happy I scored the 1-0 against Utrecht. I'm not going back here for 5 days. But in after my goal I had mixed feelings, because earlier this season I thought I made the winning goal against Utrecht..."


And against Heerenveen, I think it will be a 3-1 victory

But Ajax didn't accept it, it's a way to low offer I think.
And Ajax said that Maxwell won't leave till the end of the season.

Any of you guys seen Filipe on the left side of defence for Ajax? I saw part of Brazil's U-20 team in which he played, I didn't see much of it but he wasn't too bad.
