Sneijder injured is a bad thing with Galasek still out of the loop, who will play on midfield now that vdV is suspended??
I think that as soon as Bogdan is fit again he should play as GK, he has more experience as Maarten and Auxerre is coming up in a few weeks.
Vonk is a good goalkeeper, even when he focked up this weekend i still say he is reliable so let him stay in goal for now and for god sake let Koeman do his job!!

I think he should give Boukhari another chance on the left wing position since Mitea started to give up on life
Charisteas for central forward and Babel on the bench considering he may not be 100% fit

I think the formation is only known by Koeman and the staff, maybe it will be a big surprise again but I agree with you Panna, Boukhari is a dangerous player and right now I choose him over Mitea. Mitea is a great player too but he makes too many mistakes lately..
I think though that van der Vaart will likely play after his suspension, it wouldn't surprise me when he starts with the two Greek strikers Anastasiou and Charisteas in the line-up.

Normally the formation is like this:

GK: Vonk
Def: Heitinga, de Jong, Escudé, Grygera
Mid: Galasek(Pienaar), van der Vaart, Sneijder
Attack: Babel(Mitea)(Anastasiou), Charisteas, Rosales

That is the selection from the last matches anyway..

how have you guys found Charisteas performance so far?

At the moment he played a few good matches and worked hard but he played some poor games too, he failed to score with a few 100% chances so I say his performance at the mom. is average.
I know he can do better and counting on him to show that within a few months surely!

his time will come, i don't think we can expect him to be playing amazing now cuz its just not realistic. If he isn't on fire next season then Koeman has made another crappy buy

Actually, I watch the EPL, Ligue 1, Serie A, La Liga, Bundesliga, but no Eredivisie. this year. We had it last year.

NOURDIN BOUKHARIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII showed everyone what a good player he really is, starting in the line-up and Ajax won with 2-1 against NAC thanx to Nourdin's two goals.
One beauty in the 3d minute of the game and one in the dying minutes of the game (very near offside but he wasn't) through the legs of the goalkeeper.
3 valuable points won and so many players were not on the pitch:
van der Vaart, Sneijder, Grygera, Galasek and a few more.
It was almost Ajax 2 out there, Rosales was on the pitch but was subbed for Rasmuss Lindgren because of the important match against Auxerre on wednesday. Vonk got injured and was replaced by Stekelenburg in the 2nd half.Escude was captain in the 2nd half, Babel came on the pitch in the 2nd half for Charisteas (spared for the game vs Auxerre), Obodai played, Maxwell, Pienaar, de Jong and they stould their ground. The NAC goal was a freekick and not a fieldgoal.

All in all well done lads, we needed the points and Boukhari was the man today!

i just found out that Charisteas can't play Uefa cup.. because he already played internationally for Werder Bremen.

So he was really just substituted cuz he played like crap...

Both and according to Koeman Charisteas IS eligible for the UEFA cup, that was one of the reasons why they contracted him..

I don't think Angelos can play in the UEFA Cup, he played five games for Werden Bremen in the Champions League...

I HATE the fact how Koeman first kicks out Obodai and Boukhari out of the first team but than picks them again when a bunch of players are injured/suspended. Remember how Boukhari WAS good enough for the first team in August/September, than wasn't, and now is again? It's driving me mad.

Koeman can leave. Bring me Henk Ten Cate or Co Adriaanse

Can I get an update on Mitea? Has he improved any? Any goals? etc...

Sorry to say (I like him) but he's crap right now. He had lost his place to Babel, who's not even a left winger. Last week, Babel started instead of Mitea, but he got injured. Mitea came in the 24th minute but he was so ineffective that he got subbed out again in the 76th.

Right now, Boukhari (a 2nd string left-winger) has taken his place. He scored twice today so it's pretty sure that Mitea has lost his place now.

He's not a bad player, just horribly out of form right now.
