DreamTeam-Valdes is not a bad keeper ,but Rustu IS better.
And if we spent so much money on him ,we might as well play him.Don't you agree?Valdes may be the future of Barca ,BUT WAKE UP!!!He is not the present.Rustu is at his best.We have to make use of that!
Also ,are you saying it's a good thing to keep Saviola ,Quaresma and Marquez at the bench?
I don't think so.
Even if they aren't very good players ,they're at least better than the ones playing right now.A peak to the round up says everything.

Rustu played 1 match, and Barça lost 2 points for him. That didn't happen with Valdes. The problems in the goal went when Rustu played, not before.
This have no sense.
1. Quaresma plays usually and not very good. (he is improving but is a player for the future, not a star of the present)
2. If you say that Rustu should play, Saviola and Marquez won't play, or should rijkaard place Ronaldinho at the bench? (3 non-ue players max)
With Victor Valdes there weren't problems in the goal, I don't care if Rustu is good or bad, and could play Marquez and Saviola.
Quaresma is usually playing.

that leaves rustu on the bench... but i'm happy with Victor Valdes.
I think it would be better for rustu to go somewhere else where he can play often.

Is it Xavi the man to organise the team on the pitch. I don't like Xavi. I find him too cold. No surprises on his plays and it seems no blood in his vains.

The 20-year-old sensation is to hold talks with Ajax, who are anxious to find out if the Dutch international intends to move on at the end of the season.
Van der Vaart has previously been linked with Barcelona, but he insists nothing is decided.
"They keep on speculating about my future," he told his column in De Telegraaf. "A day after I wrote in my previous column that I was keeping all my options open, the Catalan newspaper Sport managed to print quotes from me saying that I had already chosen to play in Spain at Barcelona next season.

What you say is impossible because there is a rule about the limit of non-ue players, and the limit is 3. Rustu, Saviola, Marquez and Ronaldinho are 4.
And is Quaresma who isn't getting the job done, because the others don't play.
I repeat, Quaresma plays usually, always, the last 10-12 matches.
The problems go back to Figo's desertion & the way transfers were done during Gaspart's presidency. The goalkeeping position has never been resolved since Ruud Hesp left; Rustu should play, but Valdes isn't all that bad. The defence needs sorting out ASAP; Cocu isn't a proper defender & Andersson's departure leaves a shortage there.
Xavi hasn't turned out to be as good as I hoped; we need someone like Davids desperately; Iniesta needs to be given a chance. Quaresma will come good, the dependence on Ronaldinho is worrying; someone like Van Der Vaart or Sneijder would help enormously. Saviola is still only 22; a quality striking partner will really help him. We need 2 up front; someone like Kezman is the answer.
Finally, there hasn't been stability on the coaching front for a long time. Rijkaard is a nice man, but I don't think that he has what it takes at Barca. He doesn't know his own best team; the Madrid match proved that. Mancini or Koeman would be my candidate to take over. Player attitude is the main factor, however. Money problem is more or less solved. I mean, economy must be watched very closely but if there are no more stupid actions, like in the last 3 years, we'll get out of there with our own efford.
Barça has negociated a credit with "la Caixa"( it leads the operation but there are other banks involved), the most important catalan bank, and there are about 30-40 milion euros for signing for each of the next 7 years.
That means enought money to make a very strong team in 2- 3 years.
Now we have to find the right players and the right coach.
By the way, it seems tha Johan Cruyff is directing the new signings. Although he's not officialy in the club, he's giving "advices" to those who manage the club. Personaly I'm happy to have him back.

I'm glad that Johan's directing things there. BTW he was right about Van Gaal all along!. I think that the monies available are great, but we really need to qualify for next season's Champions League, or we won't be able to attract so many good players. Strange to think that 5 or so years ago we found it easier than the Madrid scum to attract top players, but then we haven't flogged our training ground to anyone for £200 million, have we?
