Ur gonna love it man, its fu*kin sweet. (Y)

Btw, can anyone recommend some good headphones?... $25 at the most. I already blew out my left earpiece from the headphones that came with my IPod video, so I need some new ones.

I have a Creative Zen Touch 20Gb, and it is the best mp3 player I've ever had, and I've had an iPod. whoever also has zens, they love them.

I've got the Zen xtra and it's worked perfectly, only thing I dislike is its size. Can anyone think of a scheme to trade it in to Best Buy for a Zen Sleek before its one year waranty expires :p (they've discontinued the xtra).

I've heard plenty of stories of people trading in 4G ipods for the new 30gig 5G ones

Sony Fontopia ear-buds... easily the best you can get at a reasonable price, I think they're about 25-30 bucks these days. You can even get them in white to match your iPod

If there is a problem with the player, and they can't fix it, and there is no replacement in the shop I'm sure a deal can be made to get the sleek.

Luis, did you know about the double finger scrolling on the iBook and Powerbooks?
I just found out yesterday, pretty damn nifty. If you want to scroll through a page you put two fingers on the touchpad and just scroll away. I'm not sure if this feature comes automatically with the iBook though, you might have to download it somewhere. Makes it so damn easier to scroll though.

I was planning to get the Zen Sleek through amazon.com... you don't have to pay tax so it's 20$ cheaper :ewan: but is there any downfall to having to use amazon, apart from a delivery wait?

yup, I got it on my iBook. It was part of the last revision to the iBooks. Powerbooks had that feature for a while before. great little tool...

hey guys... i got another question for you.

I just recently got my mp3 player. Its a iriver h10 5 gb. However when i tried to install it on my system, it wouldn't work. When i plugged it in to the usb port it would give me an option to install it. however when i tried to install the player, it would search it and not find it. I installed the software that came on the cd already (and all that was was windows media player 10) I got a message i think where it said i had plugged a high speed usb cable into a non high speed usb port. I think the problem is that i have a usb 1.something and it requires a usb port of 2.0. Does anyone know if this could be the problem? And if so how would i solve it (cheaply). I thought i'd ask it here because i got such great replies last time. any help would be greatly appreciated.
TIme to upgrade to a new mobo. Would be a good long term investment.

OR....he could get a USB 2.0 PCI card for less than 15$.

something like that would fit the bill. Its not hard to install. You just need to slot it into one of the computer's PCI slots and you're good to go.

They are available all over the place... bestbuy...radioshack even... but if you buy it online you'll get it cheaper.

Yeah I have one too. The battery life's just so cool. I go for days without recharging it.

well my ipod has ****ed up bigtime, its constantly freezing and not responding to anything including resetting, the only think that works is leaving it and waiting for the battery to drain and then re-charging it. I have contacted apple and requested a repair service for free as i am under warranty and i want a decent working ipod i spent 200 bucks on it, isnt that reasonable!!
