I have a personal reason for wanting to visit Fogo Island, there is an architectural practice called Fogo Island studios who did some buildings there which I very much want to see.

How good are you at soccer nady?

Lately I've been playing once a week in an amateur league (for the last year) and am not too good. My passing, stamina and speed are okay but I have really bad defensive ability. I'm not a good dribbler either.

At the moment I'm in pretty bad shape because I have not played a good run of games for probably 2 years. Even with practice, I am average in an amateur team. Where do you play?

I play as right/left back. I am good defensively and fast but poor stamina. I will probably start playing again. It was very difficult to find a soccer team in Newfoundland. No one plays or watches football there. It is all about hockey.

If you're interested in Toronto FC, I know someone who is connected with the fan club.

Sure, I want to watch the MLS on TV first though. I have just gotten cable TV woohoo!

I appreciate what he did when he was in his prime, and even some when he was older, but I find it a bit nauseating that he's getting that much coverage. I don't think Michael Jordan got as much attention after retiring. Plus he should have retired at least four years ago.

Isn't hyperbole regular when it comes to Liga MX coverage? There was talk of Ronaldinho's ovation being Bernabéu pt. 2 (it was big and it was probably the closest thing since but the events are very different).

I liked when he played 20 minutes and would just be drenched in sweat.

America wins the Champions League. 10th Mexican win in a row.

Montreal actually led for awhile but they were on the receiving end of an underwear ripping wedgie in the second half.
