If you are being a dip****, I was trying to see why someone posted that pic....I didn't mean to say that they were saying that Jesus loves dick, but rather that it looked like it said that....nevermind....

Rip Hamilton, the guy with a mask? Why is that....I think Argentina lost track after the first goal of Adriano. Argentina was dominating before Adriano struck the first goal, which I believe to be an incredible goal nonetheless, and that hurt Argentina mentally. And for me, just like they say in Basketball, the second goal by Kaka was the dagger. A 2 to 0 loss in the finals, with that much pressure, and basically one half remaining puts you at a big disadvantage. Some might think other-wise, but those two first goals did not come out of Brasil playing better then Argentina, those goals came out of two great shots. Like I said before, once Argentina went to go for the lead, they left spaces open, if the game would have been 0 to 0, Argentina would have probably played differently.

I make the comparison because they're both very aggressive and energetic. Even when they're not having a good game, you'll still notice their great effort and tirelessness.

On your point about the team being shell-shocked and devastated two goals down after 17mins or so, That's totally understandable, but I don't know how you can claim that you guys were dominating anything. Possession maybe? Ok, but you weren't making much use of it. When Brazil touched the ball, they attacked with great purpose and always looked on the verge of scoring a goal......the same can't be said about your team.

Id say the confederations cup final is taken more seriously than a WC qualifer away, when you are practically qualified. Thats the way Parreira set it up before the match and thats how the players reacted afterwards.

Brasil Rules!

I hope Ronaldo still has a place on this team

More like that Brazil had 6 goal chances made 4 goals, and Argentina had like 15 chances and only made 1 goal. Like Argentina kept attacking and attacking with no result, and in the first half it was the same but like Brazil attacked twice and got 2 goals. However i've been noticing this been a trouble even vs. Brazil in Buenos Aires.

If you check that old thread of the WCQ match i was also complaining about Pekerman not doing substitutions, nevermind hope he'll learn now or else we'll be coming back after the first round again.:nape:

See you in Germany next year.:ewan:

You as I should know that a qualifier is taken more seriously than this tournament that is called "a warm-up for the World Cup" where you test out players/formations for games that actually count :ewan: (World Cup). The Copa America is important but also teams don't play the first team. May I remind you that the last time we played our first-teams Argentina won. :)

I hope we meet again, as in World Cup Final. It would be fitting.

The difference between the qualifiers and this cup, is that the latter, even being a "warm-up for the World Cup", counts as silverware. You can name yourself Champion of the Confed. Cup after you win it.

You dont see anyone saying : oh, we are Champions of South America because we won the Qualifiers. May i remind you, that we are Champions of South America, Champions of the Confederations Cup (beating Germany 3-2 at their homeground and Argentina 4-1 in the process), and Champions of the World. A mere loss to Argentina in the Qualifiers wont erase the fact that lately, you havent won squat and we have been winning everything.

Yes, you can gloat about the Olympics. And that very very very important qualifier game. Oh, we are already qualified, so are you!

Ronaldinho should have been sent off in like the 10'.

Coloccini first yellow was undeserved, also ;)
i may be wrong, but if you watch that again, i think you can see coloccini hitting ronaldinho before ronaldinho elbowed him.

i wouldn't be worried about Ronaldo not having a place on this team, but if you love Cafu watch out cuz it's time Cicinho started evrytime. What a Player. 2 great crosses, two goals

Yes that's true, that's why probably some don't consider this a rematch for the eliminatories, actually it was something different, and the players wanted to play against Argentina for what it represented a final vs. Argentina a plain rematch for the WCQ match, 'cuz at any rate that one was a rematch for Argentina for what happened in Brazil in 2004.

But this game really left me nervous as to the coaching capabilities of Pekerman. I think the starting lineup that he presented was horrendous, he should have gone with Samuel as a starter and probably Tevez too...I would have included Aimar as well...If Pekerman continues to coach like this I do not see the future of Argentina in the WC....

El Diablo Rojo

Starting XI
He made the same errors he did against Germany(friendly in January), Ecuador and even the same errors he did vs. Brazil in the WCQ. Hopefully for once he'll learn to not do the same errors again.

i dont want to sound like party pooper; but i think mexico could done better fight against brazil; its a shame how argentine players are really sour losers; giving foul kicks everywere when losing bad; this is not the first time this happens ; especially with coloccini ; everyplayer he went after to was with elbows; same against mexico; the only player i really like was riquelme ; superb player ; had a great tournement; and some of you are tryng to excuse your pain argumenting that brazil dint play that much better than argentina ; thatthey had only 2 quick goals ; but waht about the 2 other goals ; or maybe the dozen other misses; and lets remember the wcq game argetina also made 2 quick goals and brazil dint went cryng about it. i really think brazil really enjoy this win ; cause of the sweet revenge ; and cause they played on neutral turf

congrats brazil; who has the last laugh is what counts :lui: :rockman: :hump:

Its not about giving foul kicks, its about playing hard...see you don't understand what an Argentina Brasil rivarly means because probably you aren't Brasilian or Argentinean. With that in itself, you should not talk....Whenever Brasil and Argentina plays, it is like a final, and players lay everything out there to win, and sometimes that includes playing rough. And about Mexico, they were not better suited for Brasil since they did not make it to the finals, that already shows that Argentina was the best team to play against Brasil, not Mexico....

Btw: there is never a last laugh, unless one of these nations ceases to disappear, because both will continue to duke it out. And yes, now we are tied in Conferation Cup wins...

O.K. A bit more calm now. :)

You'd think Pekerman would field our best players for the final, but he does this ? Why start these 'B/C' players when Brasil is playing their best talent minus Carlos, Cafu, and Ronaldo. It makes absolutely no sense to me. Is he looking for a reason to resign or what ? He basically gave the match to Brasil before it even started and that is why I am/was so angry. :nape:
