Yeah i'll take the 3-1. I didnt think we'd win. i was hoping for a draw, but both teams i guess have been a bit of a jeckyl and hyde. But dudek.
I guess every liverpool supporter would be happy if they were told we'd win 3-1 before the match so it can't really be considered a bad result... but... the way it happened... anyways... I believe we'll go through...
when we played them away last time we lost 4-2 and if we can repeat that scoreline we're through... let's hope!

I think we should give Carson his senior squad debut by playing him against Leverkussan. If he keeps a clean sheet and most likely he will, his confidence will go soaring. Great work by biscan today i might add.

at 3-0 this tie was over, and liverpool were basically into the next round. with 3-0 the germans had no chance of a comeback but at 3-1 i honestly now think they will progress through dudek is a liability and is nowhere near the standard of player liverpool football club need. when i saw the ball going in his direction straight to his body i KNEW it would somehow find a way into the net.... and it did, which made it even more annoying :X

Great win!!! but again Dudek!!! i am getting used to his mistakes!!! 3-0 would have been much better!!! read Biscan had a very good match;he got the best rating on skysports.com 9.0.He was also very good against Deportivo in the group stages. Great win!!!

Carson in the next leg would be a massive mistake. Yes he is probably good enough but this is the Champions League last 16, ability alone isn't good enough. Things like experience come into play and so far Carson's experience amounts to one First team match for Leeds against Man United last season. I'm hoping Rafa starts drafting Carson in towards the end of the season though, I'm fed up of Liverpool not having a reliable keeper.
I only saw the highlights but with how highly Biscan was rated, it seems he played incredibly well, maybe hes jyst another player who is simply not suited to the English game. He only seems to really perform for us in Continetal games

ya, im worried about playing Leverkusen in a fortnights time. If it had of stayed 3-0 id feel a hell of a lot more comfortable than 3-1. Im disappointed we conceeded it. If only Baros had of nailed 1 of those 2 sitters he had.
I feel really bad about that goal.... I just can't stop thinking that Leverkusen can really beat us 2-0... 
I think we should give Biscan more chances really, especially with Alonso injured. I mean, how many chances have we given Kewell? Plenty, especially compared 2 Biscan, and Biscan has probably pulled off more good appearances than Kewell

Yeah, Biscan had a cracking game. The two through balls iwere terrific. As for the Dudek thing, I agree with you lads. He's had enough chances now and I think that end of season he'll be gone. I do agree with Liam though that throwing Carson in at the deep end for the next leg would be a mistake.
