Virgo said:funny that even so Benfica had 3 clear goal chances in the first half, and only Helton prevented Benfica from scoring at least one before half time.
In the 2nd half Porto had ZERO goal chances until the 91st minute.
Yeah, we didn't do well in the 2nd half, I said it. If I remember correctly, Benfica had 1 chance before Anderson's injury, while we had more than 5 good chances during the same period.
Virgo said:the ones that said http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hz4dRoP9qtw this was fair, dont be hypocrit c*nts now. It's a similar play.
Katsouranis went for the ball, with a stricter ref he probably would have seen a yellow for dangerous play but it definitely wasn't a tackle "à Petit", it's debatable but Katsou had no intention of injuring him.
Is this a joke?? Similar play!? I see nothing similar, apart from the fact they were both tackles on talented young players.
Unlike that play, Katsouranis also hit the leg. Actually, he mostly hit the leg, as his foot touched the ball but his body was bent on Anderson's right leg.
Another huge difference was the violence and strength involved; notice how Kat had greater momentum going for the tackle. Paulo and Wayne are sprinting in the same direction (which makes for a small relative speed), whereas Katsouranis sprinted towards Anderson and hit him hard.
Like I said earlier, Benfica knew the kid had been injured all week, and that tackle was way harsher than it needed to be. It seemed they wanted to, AT THE VERY LEAST, intimidate Anderson.
No, I don't think Katsouranis meant to sideline Anderson for 3 months, but it is my opinion he was set to take him out of the game one way or the other.
As a result, our league lost arguably its best player so far, and we lost our most influential force. There's no way of denying it: we're one team with Anderson and a weaker version without him.
This is a total transvestite, I feel like we've been cheated.

Btw, I had to leave this here: the play where Anderson did the magic 'toque de letra' on Luisão to Quaresma, only to have him center the ball with another 'toque de letra' was simply one of the most amazing, kickass, rock n' roll plays I've seen in our league. Phenomenal!
