hey,i think u guys have come up with some wicked suggestions...i'm sorry i might be repeating what other people say but here is my top 10.
1 more realistic gameplay:everything is far too organized in fifa2000,make players wander out of position etc,
2 make goalies able to be sent off and injured
3 whaen a player with a high aggression score gets fouled,make him retaliate,kick the ball away,or just launch a full out physical assault!
4 shot accuracy is far too accurate on fifa2k,but goalies are too good also,you should be able to score a long range effort when the keeper dives full length
5 proper crowd noise,i don't want to hear polite clapping when the away team scores,make it go silent or booing or something.
6 stadium select,and a better range of stadiums,cause it's stupid working someone like hibernian or kilmarnock and playing in some 50,000 seater stadium,include at least one small stadium.
7 don't make it obvious the goal has been disallowed,show them celebrating then lokking p***ed off.
8 custom set pieces,and a proper wall.
9 much more deflections,and realistic own goals.
10 sort those flipping corners out!!!!
there are loads more suggestions i can think of,but we've got to be reasonable and realise that EA can't give us everything i want.
ps. i heard rumour that there is going to be no fifa2001,please tell me this is not true.

OK Guys, lets be realistic.
All i ask for, is :
- a power bar
- better internet play
- a way to play with an ADSL Modem
- a better gameplay
- more stadiums with different sizes of crowd

If EA reads all these suggestions, Fifa 2001 will sell more than CivII!
Arsenal's suggestions are (maybe) the best, but the music isn't to worry about.
(With exeption of the NHL 2000 music,
it really SUCKS!)

Great ideas, they are really interesting, but i want to add some more:
- Put the names (lastnames) in his backs.
- That every team has his own uniform.
- Create an stadium editor..
- Put again the stadium select, and the stadium introduction.
- Put in the create player more infomation and characteristics like his country, age, and add more hair colors and types.

I think that more work should go into the difference bewteen footballing nations. What I mean is, playing for Arsenal in England is alot different to playing for Inter in Italy, or Barca in Spain. There are different tactics, paces, etc. Please DELETE the 360 SPIN MOVE. My 7 year old sister played on Proffessional difficulty and beat 6 players using the spin move, and scored. This move is rarely even used in a match. ITS just CRAP. HOw about boot preference for each player? And goalie kit selection before each match? And a decent trading system PLEASE

2. It sounds cool to have player on hot or cold streak
3. More fouls (and yellow or red cards) needed
4. A button for the keeper to come out when defense (or in 1 on 1 situation)
5. More set-piece tactics (defenders should go to the box to hunt for goals when corners)
6. more special moves as in FIFA99
7. A button for one-two pass, lob pass
8. Shots in FIFA2000 curl too much!
9. Better AI (e.g. goals should come more easily when shooting in the penalty box, but should try making it harder to have space for shot.)
10. Mistakes for players sometimes (e.g .lost control of the ball when dribbling, mis-kick the ball when shot)

I have a lot of wishes.
1. Include a good editor for about everything in the game.
2. slower goal keepers.
3. A player should not be off-side when he doesn't get near the ball.
4. Make the other players on your team much more active. Soccer is all about movement without the ball. Players should come to the ball or run away to make room for another player etc.
5. It's much to easy to score with the head, especialy from corners.
6. Lots of special tricks with difficult combinations of keys. This way it's more difficult to perform a trick so they aren't as abundant as they are now. They should be more effective.
7. Give players a better condition. When I make a run along the sideline. after about twenty meters the player is tired and the defender comes back, also a fast player with ball should be faster then a slow player without the ball (also depending on his control over the ball).
8. More difficulty levels, there is a huge gap between proffesional and world-class and world-class is to easy to be the highest difficulty level.
9. Option to add players and teams to the game. I'd like to play with the team I play with in real life.
10. Ability of manual promote and relegate teams so you can play with the teams you added.
These are my most important whishes for the next fifa. I have read a lot of other suggestions in this forum and I agree with almost every one of them.

I love the idea on Indoor Championship mode - that was the coolest idea from FIFA RTWC 98.
Plus with the stats and stuff, they should employ Chau since he does such a good job - at least he's committed!

hi every one, i know we all are trying to make this game better. and i think i`m gonna tell you what is freaking me out of this game that i`ve been playing since fifa96
FIRST OF ALL : GIVE US THE CONTROL OVER THE STRATEGY, every crappy, cheap little soccer game gives more control than you. and by this i mean:
let us decide how many players we want as defenders,midfielders and forwards
let us set the likely positions that we want our players to stand on the field (not only the old fashioned tactics,
let us have a target so the free kicks might be humanly possible to score a goal (as it happens in real life!!!)
let us have the control of the goalie on penalty kicks so we don`t have a retarded goalie that doesn`t move and sits on his butt
give us a game in which sometimes a team won`t sell a top player,
don`t give so much money to the teams, instead i would rather some kind of mechanism that gives you more money if you are getting better as a winning team,
when a player gets injured tell us why and how much time he`s gonna be out,
let us create player or at least give us 25 players so we can modify them according to changes in their ratings and transfers,
IF IT`S RAINING OR SNOWING PLAYERS ARE SUPOSSED TO SLIDE, FALL AND MISS THE BALL.
