And people in here keep talking about Reyes being a cheat but no one mentions Cicinho's pathetic acting when he got owned by Flamini or Ramos' slap across Eboue's face.
Socrates said:Which play are talking about in terms of Cicinhos acting??
funny part is after a minute of rolling around, he came to the side of the pitch, fake limped and signalled to the ref to come back on. when the ref didnt waive him back on, he acted all pissed and everything. idiotbigp said:When Flamini tackled him right outside the penalty box around the 37th minute. Flamini got all ball and he started acting like he was in pain after he heard the crowd reaction.
as classy as your club's pitch condition matepede54 said:We all know that is just not the way it works Toon. Its up to him to win them over.
donavan929....dont be stupid mate, Reyes was off the field and then crawled back on to it to try to stop the game. The linesman should have dragged him back off and the ref should have give him a red card for what he did. Personally i would have kicked the slimey little c.u.n.t until he was curled up bleeding against the adboards.
Dont try to defend cheating it just shows that you have no class mate

Eng4WorldCup said:man what are you smoking? there is absolutely no way that should have been a penalty. lehmann already won the ball and beckham tripped over him. theres a reason they didnt protest, cuz they themselves even knew it wasnt supposed to be a penalty.
They had what were two decent shouts for a penalty turned down. I hardly think that comes anywhere near to an offside call. Then again, its Madrid's fault for being too heartless to even make a big deal of either non call. Credit to Cicinho, though. He got knocked down by Reyes, but rather than writhe on the floor like a bitch looking for the whistle, he got back up, looked back at the ref, and continued on. That kind of attitude is definately needed on a wider scale in the game todayBummy_JaB said:If were gonna call all missed penalties and bad decisions. Why not bring that offside they called on Henry when Fab lobbed the ball from far away??? It seems as if Henrys acceleration is SO goddamn fast that he appears to be offside. I have seen this more than about 6 times this season alone.
You're right, I just think it's good for referees to use judgement and sometimes let things go, that if the rules were followed to the letter of the law, would be fouls/penalties/etc., if the situation warrants it. One of the worst things in football, for me, is when a penalty kick is "earned" when a forward dribbles the ball 15 yards ahead of himself out of bounds and then conveniently runs into the diving goalkeeper and goes down, and the ref calls it, because the rulebook says he has to. I think, in any sport, it's best for the official to apply the rules to each situation individually, rather than trying to follow them as if they are set in stone. When I refereed, I found using a little judgement and flexibility went a long way towards making it a much better game for everyone involved.TheBlueBalla said:I thought about that, too, but the fact remains that in a situation where the goalkeeper obstructs or hinders a player for the sake of brining them down, even if the ball is seemingly beyond being brought back, a pen is generally called. I remember Given brought down duff very similarly last year, and the ball was just as uncontrolled in that situation. The bottom line is that in both cases the keeper should be intellegent enough to let the play go since they had already won the ball
Give the time he got tackled by Flamini a second look. His attitude wasn't so great then, he definitely put on a little bit of a show.TheBlueBalla said:Credit to Cicinho, though.
