I say we'll win 2-1, Iran has some good players playing abroad so it won't be easy. We'll be screwed if we lose this game though. We should be able to beat Angola but since know little about them that could be a dangerous situation; the biggest thing is that we can't go into the Portugal game needing to win.

It seems like getting more than a goal out of Mexico is unusual. Our defense is going to have to stand out, though. The more I read and hear about Iran, the more they scare me. They seem to be a really good team, and a real threat. A well balanced offensive team. But I think Mexico is better (if we actually play well).

Heh, same here but we'll see. Another worry for me is the whole Oswaldo situation with his father passing away a couple of days ago. I don't know if he'll get back to Germany in time for the game and if he does, what will his state of mind be considering how close he was to him. Corona is pretty reliable but putting him in for WC right away is pretty risky.

Oswaldo is supposedbly on his way back to Germany. Though it's probably asking too much for him to get there and still be totally focused. Corona should start and hope he does well. For sure we'll have Oswaldo back versus Angola. And hopefully, by then, he'll have his thoughts cleared a bit, and to be ready to play.
