Heres the line-up hes actually goin to use according to the mexican media.

..........Marquez..Osorio..Salcido
Castro.................................Pineda
.....................Pardo
....Kikin.................................Bravo
................Guille.......Borgetti

Damn, we better win if we use that lineup, that's a hell of a risk if we go with that. I can imagine if we lose, the media is going to tear Lavolpe up.

I think Iran can be the surprise in this group. Mexico is one of the strongest teams in the World, I really don't know what to expect from Portugal (we have good players, but in low form and kinda arrogant), and Angola just seems to fragile.

Only think I don't like is Castro. He doesn't play well on the right side. We need Carmona back. (:/)
Castro will do fine defensively, his problem is finishing attacking plays. And lets not talk about Carmona, he was the MAN. :nape:

I want this...
------------------Sanchez--------------
Marquez/Castro----Osorio-----Salcido---
Castro/Marquez-------------------------
--------------Pardo----<-Pineda--->-----
------Fonseca---------------Morales----
-------------Franco----Borgetti---------

I know I said Oswaldo should sit out, but most likely he won't...this means so much to him. 2 prior WC's on the bench. Marquez has his own special position on the field because Castro is supposed to cover his back when Rafa adds himself to the attack. I think our big ? is the LM (Morales, Zinha, Bravo?, Torrado?). Hopefully Morales with his constant centers can break the Iranian defense for some Borgetti headers. Lavolpe likes using Pineda as a DM to help out Pardo. Him (Pineda) and Morales can work the left flank very well. I wouldn't doubt seeing Andres 'el Guardado'(H) come in to relieve Morales. Franco can play a little bit behind Borgetti to try and help out Fonseca too. Me like it. (Y)

my bold prediction: Iran wins 2 nil.

Starting XI
Mexico 2-1 Iran

Borgetti, Pineda; Karimi

Mexico is definitely much more skilled all around. But Iran is a strong and tough team like Turkey, and Karimi is a splendid player.

I would like to see a Mexico 3 Iran 1, with Borgetti scoring twice, but it will probably be a Mexico 1 Iran 0, with Iran causing headaches with the Mexican defence and Sanchez coming to the rescue. :jap:

Check out Carlos Salcido's new hairstyle, MOHAWK:

That's a wicked hairstyle to see on Salcido. But I care more about the fact that he is gonna have a great game tomorrow than his hair.

Obviously his performance matters most but maybe with this new hairdo, he will be more aerodynamic and fast, lol....

In that case Ramon and Arellano should have gotten the hairdo too. That way they would have just blazed down the wings.

Iran is actually really dangerous and under rated team in my point of view, ali karimi is very dangerous player, I think its going to be a 1-1 or 2-2 tie, if i HAD to pick, it would be 2-1 Iran because Mexico's mentality is not there right now with the whole problems their keeper is having.

Trust me, Oswaldo Sanchez is going to use his father's death as motivation with a heartfelt speech. You see Oswaldo's father dream was to watch his son play his first game in a World Cup.Since this is Oswaldo's 3rd world cup but his first as a starter. The other two previous World Cups Oswaldo sat in the bench. Instead of the death being a tragedy it is going to be a motivation for Oswaldo and the entire Mexican team....
