Frings was very important, and Italy searched Video´s where it maybe looks like Frings Punched him. But Cruz said he didnt punched him. Now they MUST ban Maxi and Cufre for many Games. When not, FIFA = Funny

I didn't know Frings was that scary :confused: He made the Italian federation wet their paints. Good job, corrupted shìts.

Hendrik

Team Captain
According to German TV, the former president of the Italian football federation is the key behind all this and the person who encouraged the FIFA to heavily pursue it. The guy retired because he was involved in the Italian football scandal but is still in Fifa comitee and a very close friend of Blatter.

The German tabloids are already all over the Italians :rofl:

i'm not disputing that it was lucky to receive a last minute penalty, but italy was far from poor

at half time it could've easily been a 1-0 or 2-0 lead for italy, schwarzer had no idea on his save from luca toni with his foot

then to last almost an entire half with 10 men, that's no fluke

australia never even looked like scoring, only a few lucky shots from chipperfield which were easily saved

and don't be fooled by the posession stat, italy just loved australia holding the ball, then stepped in just taking the ball backwhen australia worked close to the box

Their performance in that game did not even compare to the Ghana game or the Czech Republic game.

PS: I didn't even look at the possession stats...

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long

It's started, there's already a Pizza boycott in Germany. :D

I wonder how long it is going to last....

I like mine with pepperoni, chicken or vegetables. I would never give up Pizza:gavin:. Breakfast, lunch, dinner....I can eat it any time of the day!

Well, we still have Döner Kebap and Pita Gyros, it's far more popular in Germany.

3 Months Ago - Italy Germany

Of all the teams to lose to, Germany is probably the one Id hate to the most.

Argentina could say the same thing, but in a neutral venue, Italy is a class above Germany, as we proved in February. Germany is riding the momentum of their home advantage (as they should of course) to great levels.

Michael Ballack is unbelievably overrated. Hope Gattuso and co dont waste a yellow on him

Germany hasnt come up against a defence like ours yet, and lets see what they can do. I fear Klose, Schneider and Schweinsteiger.

I cant wait for the worldclass showdown of fullbacks, when Lahm and Zambrotta face off.
I expect Germany to have a lot of possesion early on/Ballack taking shots from 300 feet out, and than we'll settle into our game and start attacking intelligently. We cant lose to the team that looked so mediocre so recently, we just cant

I wanna see Lippi play this lineup:

:::::::::::::::::: Toni :::::: Gila ::::::::::::::::::::::
::::::::::::::::::::::::: Totti ::::::::::::::::::::::::::
::: Perrotta :::::::::::::::::::::: Gattuso :::::::::::::
:::::::::::::::::::::: Pirlo ::::::::::::::::::::::::::
:: Grosso :::: Matrix :::: Cannavaro ::::: Zambrotta :::
:::::::::::::::::::::: Buffon ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Id hate to see Zambrotta or Gattuso get yellows, we'll need them both desperately against France/Portugal when I expect a tougher challenge.

Will I be eating all my words tommorow night? Maybe. But Im actually more confident ahead of this game than i was against Australia

I like your lineup Mikey, but perhaps going with the last game's lineup with pretty much just Toni up top with Totti trailing just behind might be a good way to go = even more defense to counter their strong offense. I also think Toni (With his aggressive play) and Totti's tactical skill on the ball might cause tons of problems for the German D/lack there of. I would also eventually like to see Pippo enter the game with his ability to scramble and chase the ball around would cause massive issues for Germany who displayed in their games, especially against Argentina their inability to clear the ball successfully.
