I have to agree with your analysis. I sincerily don´t know how Pauleta is able to score so many goals in France. The conclusion that i make is that the defences in the Championnat are absolute crap. I also QUOTE]

Pauleta is a box striker, just like Trezeguet for us.
Pauleta is a great striker and believe me the defences in the Championnat are not so bad...But when he plays for PSG , Pauleta is assisted by the likes of Kalou, Rothen or Dhorasoo and he is the captain and the leading person.
That makes the difference. And Scolari is not the trainer Portugal deserves
I could reply to you on a French level....Why is Henry so good with Arsenal and so average with France ?
