Why do you have a game during the international break?

Moronic calendar management.

The game against Leiria was postponed due to the UEFA Super Cup, but instead of us playing the following monday, like Barça did, we only played yesterday. PLUS the next game is this friday! Go figure.

3-0 against Setúbal, and a masterful performance to go with it.
they came out to defend with 11 men behind the ball and we had a hard time finding space to create chances in the first 20 minutes, but we did manage to eventually suffocate and then run them over later on.
I love this high pressure we strike on the opposition which allows us to recover the ball well over their midfield and then create absolute chaos in their defense.
we still have to put more of our chances away, we played enough to put 5 or 6 past them...

James was a devil on the loose out there yet again, creating most of our dangerous plays...what a magnificent player he's turning out to be.

Defour seems like a hell of a catch, showing great ability with the ball on his feet and being very aware in terms of positioning. This allowed him to be equally influential on the defensive and offensive moments of our game. Great performance!

And Belluschi, again proving that he is a serious option for our midfied. He's technically gifted as ****, has a good long range and also shows great team spirit...Fredy better watch his back :browsmiley:

our midfield is freakin' AWESOME (H)

he was subbed in at halftime, right on time to break the deadlock (H)
playing with him, Defour and Belluschi forming our midfield was really audacious by Vítor Pereira, and the truth is it worked wonders for us...it's a great option to bet on in the future, against these ultra-defensive sides.

I like the way Porto sell best players and coaches and still keep their form in domestic competitons and europe.

Sounds good for my draft team. (H)

(H), it does seem like you hit the Carlos*pot. If he keeps up this kind of form I see him becoming a very useful player for us this season.

I defended Vitor Pereira in the beginning but after seeing what he have done in the last 2 games i have to agree with you.

Again he cost us 2 points. Seems he can´t make a proper substitution.
How come he takes off Guarin, which was one of the best and puts Belluschi who is in a disastrous form? Why he take so long to substitute Varela? Why he makes us playing without a striker?

After 70min, I would have changed to 4-4-2, taking off Varela and put Souza/Defour to give more consistence to the midfield and replace Kleber with Walter to refresh the attack.

He looks like Jesualdo. We can´t loose points like that if we want to win the league.
For some reason Santa Clara was 2 or 3 years so close to promote and allways fail in last games.:(

Also can someone explain, what kind of pre-season we maded that most of our players seems completely tired at 60min:rolleyes:

The league is open but we definitely need to improve if we want to win.

A video recorded by me from yesterday game, showing the teams entrance.
Amazing atmosphere.

While I agree that Vítor has made a couple of mistakes in the last couple of games, I think that asking for his head this early is absolute bull****.
FFS, it's not like we have the season in risk 8| We are still topping the table in the league and the CL group, and have actually played awesome football in most of our games...of course as Porto fans we are not used to dropping points, especially in 2 games in a row and against the likes of ****ty teams like Feirense and Benfica, but that's no reason to go ape**** if you ask me.

I'm pretty sure we're going back on track soon enough, just in time to shut the hysterical critics up...
Força Vítor Pereira. AMO-TE PORTO!

we drew at home against a team that based its game on defending like a relegation-bound side throughout the whole match, commited fouls like there was no tomorrow and still got less bookings then us, and somehow eventually managed to score twice in a total of 3 shots on goal...of course I'm angry dude.

No Massive. I have lost what little confidence I had in Pereira. The substitutions he did in the game are the 3 worst manager moves I have ever seen in a single game.

There's so much wrong with not only his choices in the game against Benfica, but some of the things he's done this season that I don't even have the patience to write it all down right now.

I hope not.

Vítor Pereira OUT NOW!

But he is not the only one to blame. This season was very poorly prepared. We spent lots of money in Danilo and Alex Sandro that can´t play for us for a while, instead of getting a proper Falcao replacement. I would like to know who is the genius who tought we could be competitive with only Kléber and Walter as strikers. Also, why Iturbe havent played yet? I know he is very young but i am sure he isbetter that C.Rodriguez, Djalma and Varela in their current form.
Why C.Rodriguez wasn´t sold? He will go for free next season.

I dont get it. We need drastic changes ASAP if we want have chances to win anything this season.

PORTO SOMOS NÓS!!!
