Crash during a player search in career mode
This is a really difficult issue for me to resolve. The reason is that it doesn't happen in Windows 8. Which is the OS I built the mod on and what the game was optimised for. Changing the compatibility mode fixed the issue for me in Windows 10. Even when turning this option off, once fixed it stayed fixed. If this isn't the true fix, then it could be something to do with there being too many players, leagues, and teams. It may be that there is an issue with reading the playernames and dcplayernames tables from the db at the same time. It shouldn't, but it could be. It could be a multitude of things that I can't determine right now. I may have to strip the mod back a little. At the moment I consider this a random crash, a very, very frustrating crash.
Stadiums
The issue with textures is a simple fix. I just need time to reapply the textures. Removing the cl.ini will fix this issue, but you shouldn't remove this file. This update will not work without cl.ini.
Yes , I did the same thing as you.Opened the Cl.ini and disable it.How did you solve the missing dressing texture? Setting the value of STADIUM_DRESSING_OVERRIDE to 0?
I set the Stadium_Dressing_Overide line at 0 but the UCL & Europa League dressings weren't working when i tried to play in these matches. I therefore deleted the cl.ini and i have no issues with stadium dressing apart from the UEFA super cup dressing which isn't working.Yes , I did the same thing as you.Opened the Cl.ini and disable it.
Simply delete the file & proceed@HarryBullZak compliment for your great job...top class!! a question when i copy the step 2 file into the fifa 14 folder (i speaking the 2.11 update)click on it start but it switches off immediately and does not cancel itself ... what could it be? thanks a lot again
If you have the texture files in your tournament folder, it should work. You don't have to delete cl.ini. Also it depends what stadiums you play on. Maybe some support tournament dressing, some - not.I set the Stadium_Dressing_Overide line at 0 but the UCL & Europa League dressings weren't working when i tried to play in these matches. I tried the UCL & Europa league in San siro including your switch versions of Anfield & Signal induna park which support tournament dressing but the dressings didn't work with the line set at 0 in the cl.ini. The dressings only worked in all the three stadiums i just mentioned after deleting the cl.ini. This fixes the bug of blue green squares aswell which is common in many Stadiums like Anfield with the line set at 1. I dont know why but only the UCL & Europa dressings work with this approach despite having the UEFA super cup texture in my tournament folder. If you have the texture files in your tournament folder, it should work. I understand. So it appears this function has to be deleted completely from the cl.ini in order to get the tournament dressing working.I tried the UCL & Europa league in San siro including your switch versions of Anfield & Signal induna park which support tournament dressing but the dressings didn't work with the line set at 0 in the cl.ini. But said @HarryBullZak if you delete the cl.ini the mod don't working good...so what we do?I understand. So it appears this function has to be deleted completely from the cl.ini in order to get the tournament dressing working.
You don't have to delete the file. Just delete the line STADIUM_DRESSING_OVERIDE...But said @HarryBullZak if you delete the cl.ini the mod don't working good...so what we do?
Thanks for the tip gonzaga!I remember when I first installed FIFA 14 I also had some problems with the lag. Now I remember I did the following. I opened notepad and saved the document as replay0.bin (don't type anything in the document, just leave it empty and save somewhere on the desktop). Then open my Documents folder (it's in C drive where usually the game saves your saved games C/Users/"user name"/Documents). You should see FIFA 14 folder there. In it - a folder named instance0. In this folder you will see a file named replay0.bin with a size over 1 gb. Replace this file with the one you created. Your new replay0.bin should be 0kb. And that's it.
Exactly. I feel thats the best thing to do for nowI understand. So it appears this function has to be deleted completely from the cl.ini in order to get the tournament dressing working.
Really? Mine stays always 0kb.Thanks for the tip gonzaga!
But the problem is, this replay0.bin file grows back to its original over 1GB size after every match I play.
So, I have to do this every time I start the game.
it changes..Really? Mine stays always 0kb.
