This is my third day with the game,and boy its just getting better and better.This game is pure fun,truly addictive.Sure it has many flaws,and pes\we is a much more polished title overall,but the fun factor ,The sense of freedom and the fluidness of the game makes it all worthwile.

Yeah, why KONAMI don't show a simple screen? That's why i say they don't have market policy, EA with 6 months left is showing videos, screens and the pre alpha versions so they can attract people...

Just played my first game on HARD.
Wow, what a difference.
I got beat England 1:2 Croatia.
On NORMAL, I averaged 20 shots / 5 min half. Now, I only got 4 shots total.
Very nice. On HARD, the game just feels RIGHT.
If you haven't tried yet, I recommed.
Next game, 0:0 against Russia. 43% possesion.
4:2 against Slovenia.

BTW, i am curious as to how that free passing thing works? are you always passing in the direction the player is looking (sort of like FIFA), or how do you "steer" your passes?

also, Jumbo, is there an international league or you just playing exhibition matches? is there the equivalent of a ML? How do your favorite players compare to their WE counter-parts relative to gameplay.
finally, the stuff about poor keepers and defense bugged me. is this just a case of people playing on an easy setting -- or just not familar with controls and settings?

Haven't encountred poor keepers or defense on HARD yet.
I'm playin on the nearest camera (so maybe i just don't see what happens in other place on the pitch) and HARD and the CPU is a lot tougher now. They don't make stupid mistakes like on NORMAL.
I'm currently playing the EURO CUP on HARD. Here are the scorelines:
England - Croatia 1:2
England - Russia 0:0
England - Slovenia 4:2
England - Slovakia 2:1
England - Swiss 1:1 (4:3 PK)
England - Croatia 2:1
England - ?????? To Be Played
Look at the scores and see if they're right, realistic, etc.
There's:
Exibition
Kingdom Mode (eq. of ML but different)
International League
Cups (Euro, World, Asia, NA, SA, Cup Winner's, Namco,etc.)
My favorite players? Hard question. Ain't been payin much attention to individual players at this time. I'll check that out.
====COCA COLA MOMENTS====
Yesterday, I was playing the Kingdom Cup: Barca vs Brazil 82'. My midfielder was running down the middle. All of a sudden he slowed down and stopped. I'm like what the f*ck. I'm watchin the replay and it looked like he stepped on somethin maybe a little mount of grass OR did somethin to his ankle AND started cripplin, fell down. LOL. BEAUTIFUL. This game has more of those little touches than WE, no doubt.
Or, another one - Shevchenko prevented the goal from going out of bounds by headdivin for it from the outside of the pitch. That looked awesome.

Here's my silly little worry -- having mastered every possible nuance of WE
, I'm worried about loosing my magic WE touch if I mess with another footy control scheme.
