wooooow, i'm impressed. really impressed! you must have spent the night on imageshack. i love the pictures. i wish we had those stadiums in fifa. it's a good thing those pictures are that huge: you can see clearly the adboards, i will make caribbean adboards from it, and will also try to make arabic ones, and also for east asia, and for cyrillic writing countries. that might give the matches a little more atmosphere than always looking at ea and fifa commercials.

i sure believe african are hard to find. you found great pictures of gabon and botsuana, i'm looking forward to each small success like that

Got a question for ya august...

There hasn't been a good Ivory coast made since pede's in '05 that I can find and his link has come down... Would you be interested in maybe doing that one? It's a big team and i'm sure the kit looses a bit of quality going through at least 2 conversions.

If not, i am going to ask him to repost those kits.

I have pede's just trying to get a link up for peeps to use... I was just sure they would loose quality converting to '07 and it's a big team... Maybe someone has already requested it from another maker.

That link to the Caribbean cup was a huge help... thanks a ton to donovanfan for finding it. can get a ton of great kits out of it it seems.

--EDIT-- I just saw that Klash has done a home, and lancer is doing an away for '07 it actually says klash did both but i can't find the away. ... still looking.

EDIT -- Ignore what was written here... i'm going to use martinez's kits onthe nat team list it'll be much easier and will be much more consistent than using different kitmakers as i did have... THANKS a ton nazzy.

Does quality really suffer when going from 05 -->07? I've done it multiple times the other way in order to use August's great kits, and i haven't had any complaints. Oh well, maybe i'm just missing something or maybe going from 05 ---> 07 is worse than reverse.

BTW, on Ivory Coast I think I might have posted a bad link on Martinsz711's kits. I've updated the link. The kits look pretty good to me, and there are 3 versions. Also they are for FIFA 06, so maybe the conversion to '07 won't be as bad.

I didn't know donovan had already found the Digicel website before. I just knew those games were going on so I thought I'd use google to see if there even was a website and - wham! - Carlos*pot. Incidentally that's how I got many of the Southern African Kits from the COSAFA website. I tried looking for a CECAFA or CEMAC website to get central and East African Kits, but they don't seem to exist even though CECAFA Cup is going on right now

i'm running out of space on the main post of the nat. team list. would you be willing nazzy to move some confederations (the ones i have finished links for) to the second post in the thread... The post that says "superb list" it splits it up but at least it would still be in the first two posts...

I think i can just PM it to you and all the links would remain in tact. then you could edit that post and add in CONMEBOL and OFC. AFC links are pretty much finished except for the kits that haven't been made.

The only thing is if people make new kits for those teams and we choose to keep it updated you would probably have to set up the new links. unless you wanted me to pm them all to you.

I have no idea how much you know about em but i've jsut been using the (ignore the spaces)

To be honesst anything 2005 or later is probably the best you'll get for many african countries and is a success in my oppinion.

Maybe we can discern from them whether they are wearing a name brand kit like adidas or puma and if they are, go ahead and update it to the latest designs for that company. and guess about the rest or use what we do know about it as a basis for other decisions that need to be made.

So i just made my first attempt at a Collar for a kit and failed horribly... any tips?

Well I took a shot... I'm not sure i've cussed that much in a long time. This is probably the most difficult kit i've done yet... There's just a lot of little things to it and for whatever reason (maybe shouldn't have tried this after a long day at work) it was quite tough.

I think in the end it looks pretty good all things considering. I probably in retrospect should have picked a different font. The text is difficult to see in game but that's probably OK since it is difficult to see on their real kit.

The logo could be bigger possibly and the lines on the shorts could probably be pulled a little more towards the front of the shorts instead of the back but I will more than likely try to fix them tomorrow.

Please be critical but nice. =-)

don't know a reaon not to be nice. it's a fantastic kit.

if you want me to be critical:

i haven't seen it ingame yet but if you tested it, i guess the lines could be too thick, and the logo has to be wider because the 06 fronts are distorted ingame. for the same reason i guess the text could be even too big.
why are the white parts on the sleeves different?

about the collar, i could send you a collar like i did with the designs, though i think it will be more difficult because of the layers... you can also use an existing kit as a... how to say in english... you could trace it if you know what i mean.

I had thought about the logo being bigger in game... I noticed on the real kit that little white box was pretty much square and I didn't want to make it a rectangle to get the relative size between the two objects to work out.

So i ultimately decided the larger the logo was, the thicker the stripes would need to be and the more rectangular the white square would be.

I think i'll hold off on a collar for now I may attempt it again soon i think it's more or less a trial and error situation. Trial 1 sucked though =-(.

Thanks for the compliment on the kit. The sleeves are a different size because the long sleeves are stretched out in game (thus the reason the long sleeve captains armband is so skinny). I decided to make the white ends of the sleeves the same size as the captains armband so I could simply copy that layer and place it in the right position for short and long sleeves respectively to be sure that they would be the same size.
