Shevchenko-[7] said:I personally hope for Stevie G or Ibrahimovic. Gerrard is highly unlikely, but I like to dream.
Do they need one? They already got 2 worldclass strikers in Gilardinho and Inzaghi.johan said:so whats next for Milan..their best striker is gone now. Will they sign some other big name to fill Sheva shoes ??
CrespoShevchenko-[7 said:]who?
Shevchenko-[7] said:now I can say, so was Sheva ever leaving Milan. was deemed impossible as well
Adidas : Impossible is Nothing
Shevchenko-[7] said:Unlike mostly reported by English press, the fee paid was £45m. I think this is because Mourinho was reluctant on letting Gallas go.
TH14ISGOD:Absolutley pathetic...I can't wait till what is happening to Real Madrid happens to Chelski. All these rock start footballers will NOT gel into the unit that other teams will. BTW, yes i do see other teams challenging them for the title next year...the Arsenal...followed distantly by Liverpool then Man U.Firstly, the Real Madrid set up is nothing like the Chelsea set up. Real madrid have been an unstable club for a good while, mainly due to lack of stability and firm leadership in the boardroom. That is the reason for their underachievement lately. Chelsea do not have those problems and if you knew anything at all, you would know that.
Secondly, before Arsenal became tight with their money, and I mean tight, not careful, Arsenal bought Dennis Bergkamp. He was already a "rock star" player when Arsenal bought him from Inter in 1995 for the fee of £7.5 million. In todays transfer market that can be £7.5mill X 4, or close to £30 million. Even X 3 = £22.5 million. So there goes you stupid sulk clear out of the window.
You say ALL these players will NOT gell into a team? Mugs like you said that 2 years ago when Roman saved us from the scrapheap. Since then our players have not only gelled as a team, but have won back to back premier league titles. We already have the team pal, now we are adding to that team. That is hugely different than going out and buying 11 players, sticking them on the pitch and telling them to play.
Your argument, as non existant as it is, is poorly thought out and made through envy and despair because you know that your team can only hope for 2nd place at best in the EPL. Whether you like to think about it or not, Liverpool and Man U are still gonna finish higher than Arsenal. So take fourth place and and be grateful. If Spurs continue to progress, especially with the aquisition of Berbatov, you could be looking at fifth.
If you notice, the more intelligent posters on here do not predict doom and gloom for Chelsea. They might quietly hope for it but are too bright to see these events as anything but positive moves for Chelsea Football Club.
The rest of you negative lot should be grateful that Chelsea have helped the EPL to become the most glamourous and talked about league in the World now. You will have the honour and the pleasure of watching, week in and week out, great players like Ballack, Terry, Shevchenko, Lampard, Cole, Makalele, Essien, Gallas, Cech, Carvalho, Robben, Duff, SWP and maybe even Crespo and Drogba. Add to that Kalou and Diarra and Bridge, Paulo Ferreira, Geremi and Gudjohnson.
So sit back, stop whinging and enjoy it..........
