Yeah, seems to me like he's just after money now. Probably 90% of the best actors were better when young - DeNiro's early performances are definately his best, same goes for Nicholson and Paul Newman too, and though Pacino probably made better films later in life, I feel his actual performances were better in the early films like Dog Day Afternoon. Even Brando got crap at the end of his career, he was very disappointing in Apocalypse Now and The Score. The best old actors are mostly British, people like Michael Gambon, Ian McKellen, Richard Harris (RIP), Christopher Lee, Oliver Reed (RIP), Patrick Stewart, John Hurt, Michael Hordon (RIP), Alec Guinnes (RIP) etc are all as good now (were as good at the end of their careers in the case of the deceased) as they've ever been.
