Don't worry, ManU got robbed in that trade. Abreu and Nathan for Bay (sucks) and Lidge (good, but not that much better than Nathan especially since the twins will be better than that astros).
Yep, that trade goes up there with my Sam "E.T" Cassell for Tony Parker trade as one of my better decisions. Off to another good start in the a fantasy league, I'll manage to get by though, always do.

NBA, who cares. My Bucks just need to start tanking, put Redd and Mason on the DL or whatever and get into the top 3.

I just said that because I would love to see what would happen next after the "massacre" and the bomb threats especially with playoff intensity.

Okafor should win ROY and Gordon should win 6th man of the year, you can't just go and not look at what he did with 19 straight double-doubles the most by any player this season and the most by a rookie since like the 1960's; he's also 6th in the league with 38 double doubles, 4th in the league in rebounds and 1st in the league in offensive rebounds, and he's leading the league in March for blocks he's been averaging 3.5 per game.

You just don't know how easy it is to put up good looking stats on a ****ty team. Okafor doesn't deserve it even though he has done well. I think it's between Dwight Howard and Ben Gordon.

You can put Redd on IL but for the sake of my fantasy team let Mason play. :mrpimp:

gordon is one of if not the best clutch player(s) in the NBA. a lethal finisher who is not afraid to take a shot at the end of the game. how bout that 30 footer in the face of brezec :D man that brought a tear to my eye. okafor is ******* awesome, but really, he has to put up those numbers, because he is the primary option. if gordon develops consistency on the defensive end, he would start and would average 25 easily. man, if he was only 2-3 inches taller... he would be a great shooting guard. he's a little undersized, but man that guy can SHOOT

What a night for French players !
Tony Parker scored 28 points, gave 5 assists and took 6 rebounds in 38 minutes with San Antonio; and Mike Pietrus scored 21 points and took 6 rebounds in only 27 minutes. Since few weeks, Mickaël Pietrus is better and better and he's taking Dunleavy's place with Warriors. Boris Diaw is doing what he can with the poor Hawks but it's a good news for France before European Championshop in few months.

Diaw's lack of playing time is his own damn fault. I guess he's just deathly afraid of shooting the ball. Guys are easy to guard when you know they're not shooting.

bulls beat the cavs in an OT thriller!!!!!!!! what a heave by lebron to send the game to OT with about a 30 foot fade away over chandler 3 pointer!!! bulls own the OT, shutting the cavs down and winning the game quite easily. 4th spot, here we come. looks like a bulls-wizards matchup either way.

If only go by the stats then it's Okafor no contest. But Gordon plays on a winning team, he helped the Bulls to make the turn-around. That should be taken into account, too.

btw. Gordon was just named ROY of the month for the third straight month.

Yeah but remember last year? LeBron won it even though he played on a s*it team and Carmelo was given nothing even though he took his team to the playoffs. Why can't they do the same thing this year. IMO rookie of the year is all about stats not whether they play on a winning team or not.

update: how about 29 point 14 rebound performance in 35 minutes?

you take everything into account... same as the mvp voting. okafor is the only one on his team who can take it down low and grab boards and points. brezec doesnt count :| gordon is the 4th quarter. better then anybody and everybody in the NBA in the 4th quarter... a guy who has single handedly beaten teams in the 4th. if we go by stats, okafor should take it. if we take into account wins and overall success allong with stats, gordon takes it.

Yes but we won't take it like that they'll take everything into account and when you take everything into account Okafor wins it hands down because he has averaged a double-double all season, the Bobcats went 0-8 when he was out injured and also you can't really say the Bobcats are THAT terrible because we have been in almost every game this year we don't get blown out like the Hawks. What I'm trying to say is that Okafor does A LOT more for his team than Gordon, all he does is Carlos-up shot after shot after shot no assists, no steals, no rebounds. ROY is the award given to THE BEST rookie player and Okafor is better than Gordon.

You could read my horrible paragraph or you could just go here http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=stein_marc&id=2026678

no i believe your argument is very good. however, if you were an indifferent voter, would you vote for a guy who is the best clutch player in the 4th quarter, and is taking a team who has been one of the WORST teams in the NBA its previous seasons, or for a guy who is throwing out big numbers for a team that has a horrendeous record and is going nowhere. bulls are challenging for home court after a 0-9 start, and ben gordon has helped make all that possible. sure, he's not doing it alone, but the bulls wouldn't be here without him.

So does anybody else really want to see the Pistons and the Pacers meet up in the playoffs :p

I wouldn't mind :crazyboy:

But seriously, it says something about Rick Carlisle and his coaching staff when they can keep a team that's been missing its three best players throughout most of the season in the playoff race.

Dale Davis has been amazing, he played Ben Wallace perfectly the other night.

Yeah, that's a problem for him in NBA. With France in Euro Preliminaries last summer he often scored more than 15 pts since he's a leader especially without Tony Parker. He shot a lot with us, but in NBA he doesn't shoot enough to be more and more important with Atlanta. I guess he scored 17 or 18 points 2 or 3 times this season, especially after Walker's left. I hope he'll play much in the last games, and his coach won't put him in Summer Leagues 'cause we need him as Parker or as Pietrus to play Euro 2005 in september.
