Nice but a DM won't really help you score more goals.

What's the latest on the surface being changed to grass at BMO?
Nope, but we've been leaking goals at the back and JDG can play more forward like he does for the national team, if necessary.

As for grass, it's been approved by the board of directors of Exhibition Place, who own the land, next up is the City Council, which is on September 30th, but that should be alright.

Looks like it could happen for next season.

That is truly great news and hopefully this is the same direction that Seattle will move towards.

Philly's and NYRB's stadiums will both have a natural pitch as well (Y)

Julian De Guzman signed with TFC as the designated player today.

Holy crap that is so awesome. I think he's going to improve the gameplay in all games he plays because he pushes the pace so much in midfield.

Must win for Houston tomorrow hosting Pachuca. Also the Crew are one point away from qualification, their final game is at the Islanders who are playing for nothing.

At least this season all 3 teams MLS teams still all have chances to qualify the the knock-out rounds.

Never thought I'd say this, but thank God for Red Bull.

RBA looks so awesome, and it's so refreshing compared to "three stands and a stage".

Okay, so the USSF has stepped into the TOA v USL row, Gulati is finally acting like a President.

Three USL teams were more-or-less kicked out, and Wilmington -- totally unrelated -- went bust today. It seems their owner is involved in real estate and North Carolina has been hit VERY hard by the market crash. Greater Charlotte, the state's strongest economy, has 13% unemployment, so you can only guess how a resort town like Wilmington, though it does have industry, is doing.

Mexico 4
salvador 1

G: OG, Blanco, Palencia and Vela

MoM: Blanco

Mexico is the 1st to qualify to the 2010 World Cup from the Concacaf zone....

alcohol might have been involved and since there was a death. davies could face jailtime because apparently he was the driver although this has not been confirmed by the proper authorities. according the local laws he could be charged with Secondary Manslaughter....

He wasn't the driver, the Police Department confirmed this. You really should read up on stuff before you comment.

either way, I doubt he will return to play although if he does I don't think he will have the same speed....

He'll still be faster than Blanco but then again most normal human beings are, at walking pace even.

The national team doctor said chances Charlie will play at a high level again have improved since their initial thoughts.

His injuries take half-a-year to a year to recover from, then some rehab obviously. But at 23 he has time on his side.

That's such terrible news man :(. Who knows though, maybe this will be a blessing in disguise for Jozy. Maybe he can finally solidify his place in the US starting 11 and dominate the WC.

Once can only hope...

Good results for the USA, T&T and especially Honduras.

T&T would've beaten Mexico but they haven't been the same since Big Shaka hung up his gloves.

Costa Rica was both Jeckel and Hyde today, usually they keep it one or the other for the whole game but they slit the US apart early and just crapped on themselves late. USA had 10 men as well because Onyewu went down with a nasty one, hope he's okay. Simos lost his MIND! He got sent off, his assistant got sent off and at the end the physio was coaching Costa Rica. Crazy ****.
