Germany need another goal to come out with a decent result. Barely beating the weakest team in your group won't do much for your confidence going into the next games. Specially when you've just conceded two goals to a one man attack :nape:

Germany seems to play with an attack attack attack mentality for this tournament.

Kinsmann has changed this team around.

What a game! Definitely worth the wait. If this is a preview of how the World Cup is going to be, it's gonna be a fun month.

Germany played great but they raise a lot of questions about their defense. Costa Rica had maybe four attacks, and two turned to goals (one should have been off-side, but still...). Costa Rica tried and played with heart, but German attack is too explosive. I'm psyched about the World Cup to say the least.

Very good start.

Lahm man of the match.

Great goals. Deserved win but if Germany don't improve their defence, they'll need 3-4 goals in every game. Costa Rica scored twice without trying too much and with only one threat, Wanchope.
