I am a Canadian and spent 15 years in canada the greatest country but still managed to keep my soccer knowledge and I am a Canadian who hates all the north american sports, I just can't enjoy them. When I first came to Canada attended grade 5 at Queen Victoria Public School and joined the soccer team and scored 16 goals in 6 games, I played midfield too and broke the record and won the championship. They havn't seen such a technic player. Than next year we had this new african boy who was also new to the country and an amazing soccer player, tell you the trueth he was better than me. The coach have said '2 of you can take against a whole team, I don't need the other players' joking around. Ok I won't continue don't want to bore anyone here . But great memories when I first came to this country.

Singapore may be passionate followers of football, but, on the world's stage - like Canada - they're minnows.

By the way, more young people register to play soccer in Canada than ice hockey. This certainly hasn't translated to our senior side, but there is a passion for soccer here - as it is on the pitch, not on television or computer.

Just because the game is developed here on the west coast doesn't mean the whole country has to be blamed. Next thing you know, you'll be cursing us out for giving the world Celine Dionne and Alanis Morrisette (on behalf of all Canadians, I do apologize for them.)

Yes, maradona scoring "God Hand" goal against England. And he use drunk too. But look at good point from him. He is a great football player. With excelent dribling technique how he can impress so many people in the world and maybe thats why canadian.10 compared him with Hagi(his most favourite football player i think). Well Pele is the #1 football player in 20th century. But i doubt that he is the most famous football player in the world. I would never know Pele if i'm not read any football magazine or watch any old time worldcup review.

What???? Accept it or not I AM A CANADIAN. A Canadian does not have to like the stupid North American sports. There are alot of Canadians who hates north american sports. OK. What does it take to be a Canadian? I have to like hockey? No way man, I am a Canadian who hates hockey, well except the play offs. I showed my true Canadian spirit when we (Toronto Blujays) won the World Series (baseball) I supported them and watched their league games. But since then I was only bussy with soccer. And it is true there are more amature teams in Canada than any other country. Probably in about 10-15 years from now we will pick the real footie spirit.

Yes yes Maravana is great. But hagi is greater cause he actually felt soccer all the way in his career unlike Maravana, all he did was felt maravana. Maravana like maravana. But he was great player, too bad he did not stay clean to capture my heart. In 1986 WC he was my favourite. He spoiled it himself for his fans.

Why do you guy's who dislike the game so much put such a great effort into trying to convince those of us who enjoy it to hate it right along with you? Do you think that by pin-pointing out everything that YOU think suck's about it and then sharing that with us will make us all say "Yeah, you're right...I see it now, the game does suck"! NO WAY.

Yes you're absolutely right, I know what ur trying to say. I think people who loves this game should enjoy this, don't want to spoil it for ya. But I really I want EA to make a simulation game instead of non realistic game, thats why I am posting these threads. Don't mind me. Glad to know you can understand. So if you can understand people who loves this game should enjoy it, you dont have to always come and say bad things about this game when someone say this game is great.
